Transparent Pricing Guide for Custom Uniforms
At Class Uniform, we keep our pricing clear by separating the cost of the garment from the cost of customisation.
Your final order price may include:
- Garment cost
- Printing or embroidery application cost
- Embroidery artwork setup where applicable
- Optional extras
This means you only pay for the customisation you actually need.
Garment pricing
Each product has its own garment price. Where quantity pricing is available, the unit price reduces as you order more of the same product. The relevant quantity price breaks are shown directly on the product page.
Where supported, different sizes and colours of the same product can contribute towards the same total quantity. For example: 3 Small, 6 Medium, 6 Large, 3 XL — total quantity: 18 garments. The garment price is based on the quantity tier that includes 18 items.
Printing prices
Printing is charged per application. One printed design in one position on one garment counts as one print application. For example, a T-shirt with one front print and one back print has 2 print applications. Ordering 10 of those T-shirts means the order contains 20 print applications.

The print price is based on the total number of print applications within the same order — for example, 40 front prints on hoodies plus 60 front prints on T-shirts is 100 print applications. For 100+ applications, contact us for bulk pricing.
Embroidery prices
Embroidery is charged separately from printing. One embroidered design in one position on one garment counts as one embroidery application. For example, 20 polos with one embroidered left-chest logo is 20 embroidery applications; if the same polos also have an embroidered sleeve logo, that's a further 20 applications, for 40 in total.

The embroidery price is based on the total number of embroidery applications included in the same order.
High stitch count embroidery
Some designs need significantly more machine time because of their size, complexity or stitch count. Where this applies, high stitch count embroidery pricing may be used instead of the standard rate.

High stitch count pricing may apply to larger embroidery designs, including designs over approximately 15cm wide or requiring around 25,000 stitches or more. Our team reviews your artwork and lets you know if this pricing applies before production.
Embroidery artwork setup
For a new embroidered logo or design, there's a one-time £10.00 artwork setup charge, covering preparation and digitising of the artwork for our embroidery machines. This applies to the design, not to each garment — one garment using a new logo is £10.00 setup; 50 garments using the same logo is still £10.00 in total.
Once your embroidery file has been prepared, we keep it on record. If you place another order using exactly the same embroidered logo or design, no further setup charge applies.

Example embroidery order
You order 20 polo shirts, each with one company logo embroidered on the left chest. Your order includes 20 × garment price, 20 × embroidery applications, and 1 × £10.00 embroidery artwork setup. If you place another order later using the same logo, garment and embroidery application prices apply as normal, but no new setup fee applies.
Individual names & numbers
Different names or numbers can be added to individual garments — ideal for sports teams, schools, clubs, staff uniforms, events and organisations.

How your final price is calculated
Your order is generally calculated as: garment cost, plus printing and/or embroidery applications, plus an embroidery setup charge if it's a new embroidered design, plus any optional extras.
For example: you order 20 polo shirts, each with one embroidered left-chest logo and one large printed back design. Your order includes 20 garments, 20 embroidery applications, 20 print applications, and £10 embroidery setup if the logo is being used for the first time — £0 if the same logo is already on file from a previous order.
